Le Jardin Secret is to be found in the bastide village of Lauzerte. It's in the oldest part of the town, close by the picturesque market square that is the core of the village.

Lauzerte itself is at the heart of a stretch of blissfully peaceful countryside, yet it is within comfortable driving distance of the region's major shopping centres in Cahors, Montauban and Agen.

It's an important stop on the walk to Compostella, so pilgrims regularly hike from Lauzerte to the beautiful old Abbey at Moissac.

More modern travellers will find the fact that it's under an hour from the international airport at Toulouse very useful. It's also convenient for both major motorways and France's famously fast TGV trains.
